Our full cancellation and rescheduling policy is available to view here.
In summary:
Guests are welcome to reschedule their tour up to 24 hours prior to the original scheduled tour time. A new confirmation email will be sent to guests to advise of any updates.Guests are welcome to cancel their tour up to 24 hours prior to the scheduled tour time; guests will receive a full refund of the booking costs in this circumstance, and refunds will be processed via the same method in which guests paid for the booking
Unfortunately, should guests fail to provide cancellation notice to us within 24 hours prior to the scheduled tour time, guests will not be offered a full refund, and 50% of the booking fee will be kept as a payment to cover pre-arranged catering and staff costs.
In the event of a no-show, we regret that no refund will be offered to guests. We agree, in good faith, to hold places for our guests through the booking process. Should any guest fail to show up for a tour due to their error, mistake or omission, then no refund will be offered. We often have an active guest waitlist who would be happy to take your place should they be given the opportunity to do so. By not advising us, or communicating your intentions, you prevent us from offering your place to others and covering our pre-arranged catering and staff costs.
*As a small business, we appreciate your understanding of these terms.

The weather in Tasmania can change often and quickly. This experience is held OUTSIDE, and we recommend that you prepare for the outdoors and the ever-changing weather in Tasmania. We have umbrellas on site, but you need to take responsibility for dressing appropriately for the weather and for keeping yourself warm. We will be in an open shed for your lunch experience (this is out of the wind, and we have gas heaters so you can warm up). You will receive a confirmation text the day before your tour and, your host will notify you of any weather concerns.

We do allow and enjoy having your younger ones join us on tour. Our children’s prices are as follows.
Aged 5-17 years:
Hunt only: $90.00
Winter Warmer/Summer Siesta $120.00
Hunt and lunch: $150.00
Children under 4 years and under: Free of charge.
-
Children age 4 years and under are free of charge and will not have food catered for them but are welcome to share with Mum and Dad. We request that if you have children age 4 years and under attending the tour, you add this to your booking information, as we need to know the total number of guests on each tour for social distancing and to ensure all guests have room to move comfortably.
It is expected that you can manage your young child/ren and their behaviour for the duration of the tour. While we are out truffle hunting, we hope you can appreciate that we have paying guests who wish to unearth a truffle, and they will take priority. Your child/ren will be invited to share in a dig with you during your turn. If time allows, and the hunt is going well, we will do our best to accommodate your child and allow them to also have a turn.
Strict biosecurity protocols are in place for the truffle plantation, and we cannot allow children to walk freely and roam without accompanying an adult who can manage their movements. For younger children, we recommend the use of baby carriers/packs to allow parents to participate hands-free. Prams can be accommodated while in the tour shed; however, we cannot facilitate them in the truffle plantation due to the rough terrain and biosecurity protocols.

We are happy to look after guests of all ages and abilities. If you yourself are concerned about your mobility/ability or that of a loved one, please contact me directly on; 0437849283 and I am happy to discuss your options. Our plantation is flat and easy to walk through. We are able to prioritise guests with any mobility issues and ensure they are given the first opportunity to unearth a truffle or watch a truffle be unearthed and can then be guided back to the comfort of the tour shed to sit and enjoy the scenery if being on foot for too long is a concern.

Please note that our friendly dogs are a vital and essential part of both our operation and the tour experience.
They will roam freely (off-lead) for the duration of the tour.
Our dogs are specially trained to perform an important role on the farm and are very accustomed to being around visitors. While they may be excited to greet guests on arrival, they will settle and rest peacefully around the tour shed before and after the hunting component of the experience.
As the dogs form an integral part of the tour and cannot be removed from the experience, please ensure that you and any accompanying guests are comfortable being around friendly, off-lead working dogs prior to your visit. -
Our tours only operate in our truffle season, December – September and during this time, we have truffles that are ready to be harvested. Truffles are a natural product, and we cannot guarantee how many we will find on your truffle tour. We endeavour to do our best to ensure that a member from each booking party has the opportunity to dig up a truffle, but this is something we cannot guarantee. Please be mindful of this with your booking and with your expectations on the day of your truffle hunting.
*Truffles found and harvested by guests during a tour are able to purchased at the retail rate. -
